Girl Down!!

Well, I fell off my budget wagon. That is not good either. I had been trying slowly to make sure that this was a habit to stick with and I fell off it. I must get back on to it and start again.

That led me to wonder if this was normal for "newbies" to do - fall off the wagon so to speak. It was not like I had made a huge and drastic change in budgetland but I just got a little too relaxed in it. I am glad that I can still get back up, dust myself off and get going again. It almost felt like I had been hibernating there for a bit!!

How do I get started again? Any certain way to go? I just have to get back to doing some reading, researching and "playing around" with our money. I can tell you that we are trying a weekly lunch budget. This week is our second stab at it. The first time failed a bit but I think that Husband liked the idea and he was the one that actually brought it up to me. We are trying to do $25.00 this week. This is getting a bit creative to find ways to eat lunch and/or snacks while at work for this amount of money. We did buy some groceries over the weekend (that is a whole different sad story that I will probably have to tell you in another post) and some of that is going to work with us. I also made some lasgna over the weekend and have been eating on that when I get home. For some strange reason, I really enjoy the leftover lasgna. I do not think others in the house do but I know I will eat on it for as long as it is there!! This has helped out a bit on our money. I think we may have to stick with this idea.

Well, I will keep you updated as this girl gets back up and gets started again with the budget.
